Could Fitbit underestimate my calories?

I have the Fitbit Zip, and I stand a lot instead of sitting. I really only sit down to drive when we run errands. I know that standing burns more calories than sitting. Just curious because the Fitbit seems to come out with a lower calorie estimate that what I get online with TDEE estimations.

Standing burns minimally more calories than sitting. Maybe you've estimated your TDEE too high based on perceived activity level.
