Carbs and maintenance

This has probably already been asked before but I was wondering the significance of carbs from fruit in a diet to maintain weight? Today, I only ate around 1200 calories but had about 238 grams of carbs. Usually most of my carbs come from fruit (although today I did have two bowls of special K cereal, one at breakfast, and the other at dinner). I'm in maintenance mode right now and I was wondering if this is okay? It won't hinder me right? I know that about 40-60% of our diet should be carbs, and I'm definitely on the high end of that today. I don't eat that many carbs every day but I usually eat a ton of fruit and as a result ingest a higher carb percentage for my net days worth of calories. Will this cause me some weight problems?

Even if you are 4'10'' and 90lbs, there's no way you'd maintain weight eating 1200 calories a day!
I suggest you find your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure). A good calculator is here: http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/
As long as you are getting enough fat and protein and are eating your TDEE, it really doesn't matter how many carbs you eat.0
