Im currently going to the gym at least 4-5 days out of the week. I usually focus on cardio, instead of weight lifting because I have no clue on what? My question is in order for me to see results should I lift weights every time if I decide to go every day or should I work out each part of my body one day at the time to allow it yo rest? N is there a website that shows the different type of exercise a person can do at the gym regularly? Please I need assistance.

Most people do cardio every day & some weights. But you want to alternate weights, so maybe do upper body weights after cardio one day, then the next day do lower body weights after cardio. A great book for how to do weight workouts is Bill Phillips "Body for Life," but don't get the women's version, just the general one. The more muscle you have, the more calories your body will burn, even at rest.0

I love this site. I get my routines from it. Every six weeks I get a new one.0 -
A great beginner program is a good place to start. I prefer Strong Lifts 5x5 (search it on you tube and download the app for tracking) 3 times a week, the other 3 days do your cardio...and one nice rest day. There are a million different programs out there , so pick one that suits you. If you do decide to go with Strong Lifts, just start your weights out low. Started my wife on it 3 weeks ago and she really seems to enjoy it....and hates lifting. Good Luck0

I started 1.5 weeks ago on New Rules of Lifting for Women I'm really enjoying it! I'm with a group here doing NROL4W together and you can poke around and read more to see if that's something you might want to try!
