Hi there!
I joined MFP about a week ago after switching from the LiveStrong My Plate app. I'm still over there under the same name however after I figured out how to use MFP I decided I liked counting here better (the scanner!!).
A little about me... On the day of my high school graduation I was almost 15 lbs heavier than I was this summer due to poor food choices and a lack of exercise. When I came to college I lost a lot of the weight simply because I no longer had to fight those tempting household snacks my mom would always buy and I started running a few times a week. I began counting after realizing this winter that I was starting to gain the weight back. My old enemies, stress and boredom-snacking, were back with a vengeance and I was fortunate to catch myself before I gained it all back again.
My goal right now is to lose some more weight, but also to gain muscle and to look toned since I have never been very athletic. I figure, if I can do it, why not?
I would love to add anyone who is also motivated and is willing to be supportive and keep me accountable. I will return the favor!
