Help ! Need some sprint tips

So I joined my school track team ! I've been trained for long distance ! But for some reason I have to do sprint [ I really interested in hurdle ] ! So I do 2 sprint events and 2 hurdle event ! And I'm suck at those sprint events ! It makes me feel really bad about myself cuz I always feel like I'm not using my full speed yetttt ! I try so hard ! But I always end up with being the last one ! Do you have any tips like breathing, foot , etc ! Please help me :)
