Here's a copy paste of something I posted on G+ earlier today and I figure you all might be interested in it
"After having done IF for a while now, and fasting for 20 hours a day for about 20 days now, I now have complete control over my appetite. Even on a cut (1400 calories on rest days/1850 calories on lift days), I no longer have an insatiable appetite. Perhaps this comes with the decreased metabolic rate that a lower bodyfat brings, but I don't feel that is the case.
I strongly recommend to anyone who is struggling with appetite and wishes to eat less to check out IF (not to mention the numerous health benefits). At first it may seem insane in our world to "skip" breakfast and lunch, and to only eat meals in a 4 hour period during the day, but with determination I feel it will eventually become the best thing you can do to your diet."
I'd like to note that I started out doing fasts of only 14 hours, moved up to 16, and am now fasting for 20 hours daily.
*IF: Intermittent Fasting
Feel free to ask me any questions about fasting and I will answer you to the best of my knowledge.

i agree with this for myself!! though i definitely don't think it is for everyone because some people who skip breakfast or lunch end up overcompensating later and going over or get super anxious with the hungry feeling that they overeat.
for me it works because i can easily skip breakfast or have something small knowing it's not going to fill me up which then lets me easily skip lunch and then i have most of my delicious calories left for the evening when i love to eat more. it's weird because if i have a real breakfast with the hopes that it will satisfy, it doesn't. in my experience pretty much anything i eat for breakfast i am starving an hour or so later and it sucks! i love saving most of my calories for later in the day and it has really helped me stay under goal.0 -

That's the one thing is at first I really felt like I was starving myself so I would plow food later. Keeping your intake in check in the beginning is difficult, but once you get used to it I think the benefits are worth it.it's weird because if i have a real breakfast with the hopes that it will satisfy, it doesn't. in my experience pretty much anything i eat for breakfast i am starving an hour or so later and it sucks! i love saving most of my calories for later in the day and it has really helped me stay under goal.
Google "Why does breakfast make me hungry?" if you're interested in reading why this happens.0
