I am an African American women with shoulder length relaxed hair. As a SAHM, I usually did my workouts in the afternoon with my hair wrapped, let it air dry for a few hours, then take it down. Now that I've found a job I want to start exercising in the morning before work (6AM). The problem is, what do I do with my hair?
BTW I have no hair styling experience (I've been going to a stylist since I was 10 and I have to be at work by 8AM so I won't have time for any extravagant hair care.

Do you sweat a lot? I am Caucasian, but I style my hair the night before and put it in a ponytail while I work out. I straighten it quickly (less than 5 minutes) in the bathroom once I get to my office to iron out any bumps from the ponytail and smooth it out. I don't know if that helps you at all since our hair is totally different, but...just an idea (:0

I usually do a braid out (usually I just do two or three cornrolls throughout my hair). I wet it at night in the shower and in the morning I take it down and it looks like a curly wavy style.0

Do you wrap your hair at night? You can do that, then when you get up put it into a ponytail. With Shoulder length you should still be able to be put into a ponytail or pin it back with bobby pins but if you put into a ponytail, make sure its lose and don't use a tight scrunchie, then when you get home just run the flight iron through it. Mostly the hairs in the front and you'll be good.0
