Do you wear your fitbit zip while you sleep?

I have the fitbit zip which does not track your sleep patterns. I've been sleeping with my fit bit on simply because it's easier not to foget it in the morning. However, I wonder if that gives me credit for calories burned during the night that I shouldn't count toward exercise? I don't want to be under the false impression that I've burned more calories than I actually have. You can't count sleep as a work out! Does anyone have any input?

I actually contacted fitbit customer service about this a while back. They said you can log sleep as an activity. It reduces your 'sedentary' hours and gives you calorie burn. I don't do it, though, because, frankly, I I don't want sleep to count as calories burned. That's silly in my opinion. I do, however, wear my fitbit to bed, mainly because I forget to take it off or so I have it on right away in the A.M. .0
