So i just ran a report to see how much sugar i have consumed in the last month and it seems really high (over 40 grams a day!) I am a pretty healthy eater and do not take sugar in my coffee but lately i have been putting honey in my Chai tea (yum). I have a jello pudding cup almost every day. What i want to know is if i am eating 1200 calories a day, how many grams of sugar can i have. How much is normal?

if you're watching your food journal, MFP tells you how many g's of carbs, fats and proteins to aim for. Remember, carbs are an important part of a healthy diet. MFP set me at about 1300 cals a day and 185 g of carbs a day. You get carbs from lots of things including fruits and vegetables, whole grains and even milk!

under your food journal settings, you can choose to swap out carbs, protein, or fat for sugar. I wish you could do all 4 at once! ... but at least you can put sugar on there if you want

    hope this helps! :flowerforyou:
