HELP

I used to get this annoying cramp under my rght rib years ago when I would run. It came and went. I've begun this new year re-implementing exercise and healthy eating and as I increase my interval running (via c25k) this darn cramp is back! And it has been here ALL week. It won't go away. I have some people telling me I'm breathing wrong, so I breath better; some say I'm dehydrated, I've been drinking more. My trainer tells me yesterday I've been drinking too much soda but I haven't had a soda in weeks! And even then it was about twice a week. I mostly drink water with the occasional mio or crystal light. He said I might be running too much or too fast which I think is ridiculous because I am barely jogging at 4.5mph and it's there. Yesterday I was just walking around my office at a fast pace and the cramp hit me. It's hitting me on the bike, eliptical, any kind of cardio and I'm getting this darn cramp.

Can anyone tell me ANYTHING about this stupid cramp and/or how you were able to subdue it???

It's your diaphragm rebelling against something. I get it sometimes when I run and it's usually because I'm not taking deep belly breaths or I'm hunching forward.

Trying getting deeper, fuller breaths, and possibly holding your arms above your head momentarily.

I tried breathing deeper. I think I need to try this BEFORE the cramp happens because once it's here, it's here to stay for an hour or so. I will definitely try breathing deeper and putting my arms above my head on the walks. Thank you for the tips!
