NROLFW - Help :)

So I plan to start my first workout this Friday, but as I'm reading, I'm getting a little confused. I think I understand how the workouts are structured. What I am struggling with is WHICH exercises I should be doing.

As an example, my first exercise in week one would be squats, but the book descripes many variations of squats (barbell, single leg, dumbell single arm, etc). The book says "Squat (page 157)," so I assume that the particular variation you should be doing is on page 157. The problem is, I have an e-book, and no page numbers. How do I know what type of squat to do? Do I do the same type of squat every time I do workout A for the whole first stage??

I appreciate any clarification :)
