How much protein should I be eating?

I know there are a lot of different theories - I'm just curious as to all of the opinions and reasons.
I'm nearly 44, weigh around 117, and am 5'3" if that matters. My exercise consists of doing Ripped in 30 every morning and walking about 40 minutes per day. My job is sedentary but I rarely sit down while I'm at home.
What do you all think?

I've always heard to aim for a minimum 1g per lb of lean body weight. Probably aiming for around 100g would be good. I follow 35/35/30 macros, and MFP can then calculate your g protein from that.0

At a bare minimum, you should eat 0.8g protein per kilogram of body weight. This is the US RDA and the World Health Organization's recommendation for protein.
Some recommend an even higher protein intake, but you should do your own research to determine what amount of protein you would ultimately like to settle on.
I try to aim for 1g of protein per pound of lean body mass.0 -
