In the month of April I lost 10.6 lb got past week four in my c25k about to start week 5. How did every one else do in April?0

O.k. Jilly & all, I know this is probably cheating, but can I count 15 - 20k steps a day as workout?
I'll be in DC for an entire week touring the Capitol w/my son's jr high band...9 'til 9 daily!
MJ - I work on my feet and my pedo is usually at 7000 after a hard 8 hour shift and my feet hurt! I try my best to make it to 10K a day but fall short a few days a week...
SO if you are going to be on your feet for 15K steps or more, I would definitely say you exercised that day, the only time I broke 15K was when I walked 5 miles AFTER working all day.

As a teacher, I regularly put 13k on my pedometer....ouch. good shoes a must....
Lived in DC & easily clocked that many on one tour, so I'll just make certain to log that when I get back....Miss me!

April results:
In April I lost 5 pounds, and some inches, not sure how much because I don't measure, but I am wearing jeans right now that I couldn't wear in February.
I also did week 2 of C25K 5 times, and week 3 of C25K 5 times. I take longer than the average person to get through the program but I'm working on it.
It's great having a place to report in and be accountable. At least twice in April I did NOT want to work out that day but wanting to add a number to this thread got me off my butt.

You have no idea HOW awesome. I am SO glad you started these challenges and I found them! It REALLY is easier to do something when you know you are not doing it alone.

Been working out on the Wii for the past couple of days and i am loving it. I still can't wait to be able to get the Wii Fit. The Wii is the best $200 i spent in a while. :bigsmile: I with my Wii0
