Resting Heart Rate and Calories Burned

BMR is calculated by weight/height/age, etc, but is there any calculation that takes into account your resting heart rate?
Oooooor does it not matter???

Your BMR is pretty static (unless your body composition changes) and is accurately measured via gas-exchange while you sleep. As such, it can vary based on your heart rate, but your resting heart rate is usually lower while you sleep anyway. The formulas used on various websites are estimates.

When awake you can get a test for your RMR (resting metabolic rate) which gives you a better idea of your actual caloric requirements throughout the day.
