Can you change your shape? (apples to pears, etc)

If I wanted a larger bum, could I strength train the bottom and not the top?
Or if I wanted an hour glass shape, could I just work the middle?
I understand there is no such thing as spot reduction, but I'm wondering about building muscle.
If you only work one muscle, do the others stay the same?

If I only train my legs for muscle growth my arms will not grow larger. If I only do bicep curls in the rack, my legs will not get stronger or bigger. Muscle hypertrophy does not work like an opposite version of fat loss0
