tough mudder tips?

I will be doing my first TM on June 8th - super excited!

Im training for a half marathon the month before and have started 4-6 mile trail runs so running wise Im not too worried. Im doing p90x to work my upper body.

For those of you that finished their first or 10th TM... any tips for newbies? From training, to the actual race morning and what to wear?

How was the after part - were you able to walk? We are driving the 80 mile distance from the location to VA beach shortly after finishing to enjoy the rest of a long weekend.
