    Alcohol will cause your body to expel water as well. It's not uncommon to see a large drop in weight after a night of drinking.

    LOL--not the best way (not even a good way) to lose water weight.

    Drink lots of water. Eat cucumbers. Eat more potassium then you do sodium. Work on eating less sodium.

    Celery seed extract (in tincture form, you can include a few drops in a glass of water) is useful too. One caution in using herbals is that they can cause a mild to moderate drop in blood pressure. For most people (especially overweight folks) that is beneficial but sometimes, in people who tend to have low blood pressure, it can make for dizzy spells.
