Been on one of those slides before, the real danger isn't the height, it's the wedgie you end up with by the time you reach the end of it!

Holy crap. I love the Sears Skydeck but "open" heights freak me out. The slide looks cool though! I might go down it if I could have a stiff drink before. And after. And possibly during.

When I worked downtown, some window washers got stuck on the 68th floor of an 80-story building. The motor had gone out on the scaffolding and the windows didn't open. The firemen came, took an elevator to the top of the building, repelled down to the window washers, harnessed them in, then repelled down to the ground.

That was pretty effin' awesome to watch from the street! Hardcore, for real! I totally wish I could have done it!


But I'm a thrill-seeker... I used to be scared of heights, but my love of a good adrenaline rush cured me.
