My wife has decided to join me in my weight-loss journey. This is a momentous event, as she's never been willing to do this before. I hope that we'll be able to keep each other focused and get fit and healthy together.

I think that embarking on this journey together is the only way to do it for so many reasons. Eating properly should be a lifestyle change. My husband and I started juicing 12 days ago. We can compare how we feel and why. Congrats and much luck to you both!!

That is fab! My hubby just joined in this week with me. He is a former sporty man that never learned how to eat properly because he never had to worry about it. Now at 52 and after having a hip replacement and shoulder rebuild all in one year everything is catching up with him. Yeah, he wore out his joints lol! I started out earlier this year with getting back to the normal me as I had let things go while taking care of him.

I think him seeing that I kept with it for months as say real change made it seem more attainable to him.

    Good luck to you two!

To the person above who stated: " My hubby just joined in this week with me. He is a former sporty man that never learned how to eat properly because he never had to worry about it. And good look to you too and your hubby who was once formerly a sporty type. I know where he is coming from if you both care to join me as friends... please take a look at my profile so you can see where I am coming from! Cheerz!

Congrats, it makes things so much better/easier when you have each other not only to lean on for motivation but can relate to the experiences you are going through. My wife and daughter started committing to this healthier lifestyle about 2 months ago and we have made a goal to lose 400lbs as a family by the end of the year.

That is wonderful. It is awesome to have a partner in this journey. My husband does not need to lose weight but he has joined my in the exercise, which does not hurt anyone to do. I so enjoy when we do workouts together and to encourage each other especially those you love. This is awesome.

Woohoo! Very inspiring. I'm trying to get my boyfriend to jump on the bandwagon too by leading by example (showing, not talking at him). Hoping I'll have a similar success story soon... huge congrats on this big step :)

My lady was off work today (for Good Friday), so she came out to have lunch. After we ate, we walked around the courtyard for 20 minutes. A slow pace, but at least we were moving!
