MFP + BodyMedia FIT: You want me to eat how much, today?!

I purchased a BodyMedia FIT Link earlier this week, and have been wearing it for three days, now.

Are my MFP and BodyMedia accounts talking to each other correctly? It seems like I'm getting an awful lot of credit for exercise.

I have both accounts set for a 1000 calorie deficit each day. I just can't believe the amount of exercise credit I've been getting. The credit in MFP from BodyMedia has been 2,000 calories, 1,100 calories, and 1,400 calories respectively for those three days.

I'm 6' 3" / 450lbs with a mostly-seditary lifestyle. MFP calculated my daily calorie burn at 3,750. The smart treadmill at the YMCA calculates my 30 minute 1.5 mile walk at about 400 calories. So before having the BodyMedia, MFP was telling me about 3,150 calories as my net goal for most days. (I've been averaging around 2,000 on most days.)

The daily calorie intake goals since the BodyMedia exercise credits, though, have been more like 3,500 - 4,800 calories. Holy cow! It's nice to have a bump in the intake goal if this is true, but it really makes me question if I have it configured correctly. Am I getting double credit for something?

Before receiving it, I figured the BodyMedia was going to tell me I was spending too much time sitting at the computer at work, and I'd lose exercise credits from the goal MFP had set. I'm totally surprised to see it reporting the other way.
