"Speedy Weight Loss" Tactics?

Alright, I'm not usually a "lose it quick" type of person, even if I want to see results quickly, but this is one of those situations. Prom is in the first week of May. I've got my dress (I've gone from a 22 to a 12/14) and it looks fabulous. My only concern is the tummy. I know, I know. Last thing to go, but is there a way to possibly "speed it up?" I lifted 3x out of the week, stopped for 2 months, and got back on the horse after my boyfriend and I broke up. If I lift and swim on my off days (yes, I really WILL swim this time. It has just been too cold lately), can I melt off a few inches possibly? I know weight and fat come off where it wants to, but would that help a little?
