Confused about NET cals

If my net calories are higher than my exercise calories is that bad ? Should my net cals be lower than my exercise cals??? To lose weight

    Say what? Your net calories are your food consumed minus your exercise calories.

    I though i had to burn more calories than i ate in order to lose weight ??

    Exercise is not the only way you burn calories. You burn calories just living, that's called your BMR. MFP uses that, plus an activity modifier to come up with your calories. Then exercise adds to that. So, y can eat up to what MFP gives you. Some pele also eat back their exercise calories. Just try not to eat less than 1200 as that makes it hard to actually get all the nutrients you need.
