Owen Walker's Smoked Salmon-Cheese Dip Nutrient Values (per 1/4 cup OR 4 level Tablespoons serving):

calories per serving (accurately measured before eating): 72
carbohydrates 2 grams
total fat 5 grams
potassium 28 grams
fiber 0 grams
protein 4 grams
sodium 133 mg. (total 24 hour allowance per person=1500 mg)
sugars 1 gram
cholesterol 14 grams

Based on the following ingredients and quantities:

chopped sweet onions 1/2 cup
extra virgin olive oil 1 Tbsp.
all purpose flour 3 Tbsp.
tap water 12 ozs.
2% lactose free milk 1/2 cup
shredded milk
cheddar cheese 2 cups
crumbled smoked

I made the above calculations before I even consider making it due to the fact that I have to stay within my "portion control" lifestyle. It's so delicious that I could easily lose track of what & how much of it's going into my mouth.

  • Hi, this recipe look intriguing! I just got gifted some smoked salmon and I was wondering what to do with it. Do you simply put everything in a blender?

12 oz of water has to be a typo...?

I just mix my smoked salmon with a little low fat mayo and cream cheese. Add onions or celery if you really want to.
    Doesn't need anything else.
