Quick Insanity Question

On the days when Cardio Abs is scheduled in addition to another workout, does it matter if you do the DVD's back to back?

I'm at the end of week 2. Did Pure Cardio this morning right after waking up, so empty stomach. I was pretty done by the end doing the Suicide Drills at a slow pace, like 1 for every 3 they were doing on screen. I can't remember the last exercise, oh wait, push-jacks, yeah, I probably only did 10 total.

I never saw Cardio Abs yet so don't know what's in store. But after one and a half minutes of it I said to myself that I will give this a better effort if I do it later tonight.

    Well, i wound up eating breakfast and resting for 45 minutes. Then i did Cardio Abs no problem. I thought it was going to be all cardio moves like the high knees and jumping, but thankfully he got down on the mat for the second half. My abs burned! felt GOOD!

    Still would like to know opinions on if you think it's best to go right into the Ab workout or if I can do one in the AM and one in the PM. Thanks!
  • I try to do it right after, but only because if I don't I probably won't do it later on. I do my workouts first thing in the morning because that is what works for me and my scedule.

    IMO I think either way is fine as long as you do both workouts. You do a warm up and cool down in both videos so you should be fine if you do one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

    The key is to listen to you body. Dig deep but stay safe.

    I do the cardio abs first as it works you but doesn't kill you like pure cardio does. Still have plenty in the tank for pure cardio DVD then straight after.
