Not really sure what my Myfitnesspal goal should be anymore

Not sure if this is the right subsection for this to go in, but here's my problem. This past summer my goal on myfitnespal was to lose 10 pounds and I was assigned an average daily consumption of 1800 calories for that. I succeed in that goal, and that's a testament to how well the app works if you really follow it and track everything.

However, my goal has changed, I don't want to get any skinnier, priority right now is building muscle, so I would be at a caloric surplus for that. I've been getting bigger in the right places while loosing inches around the waist recently which is exactly what I want, but if you looked at that numerically I would be back up that 10 pounds that I lost. I don't really have a specific goal weight that I want to get to now, I don't want to be eating too much on average and gaining fat back, nor do I want muscle shrinkage. I'm 160 pounds now, I have no idea what my target should be set at.

tl;dr lost weight, gained weight, both were good, don't know what my goal should be now.

Talk to crisanderson27 he seems to know quite a bit. He's a friend on my page and he can help you with a plan. I've been readin the things he says, and he seems to hit the nail on the head. you can track measurements on here in the goals section too. So, you can do that.
  • Come join Fitocracy.com! Its solely workout based instead of food centered. You win points for your achievents so goals are easy - level up. It also keeps track of your personal bests in reps/weight/whatever. I LOVE MFP for food/weight/measurement tracking and still use it to keep track of whats going in, but if you want a reward for kicking *kitten* and taking names in the gym or on the track, FITO may be the way to go.
