fitness tests at home.

My profile picture was taken this morning, and gives a good idea of what I am working with. After these two week school holidays, I will be working in a set program ( too hard to schedule with both kids home, still working it though). So far I have being taking basic measurements and recording times and distances etc. What tests are good for strength and cardio?

My goals are to run further, 5 km seems achievable, get stronger, look better in clothes and not lose too much more weight. I am going to start with the 30 day shred, but do it three days a week (will take longer, I know) walk run my 3.7km course twice a week. Run walk 7 km once a week. Plus the running around I do at home and at work.
