Have you ever gone shopping and gotten so exhausted from the prices, crowd, crying children, stinkiness, dirty floors..... and the list goes on and on?

I caught myself shopping the other day and getting so mentally exhausted from the atmosphere that I was not paying any attention and putting in the cart, "harmful snacks".

I realized what I was doing and put it all back, bnut I guess the gist of it is, do you get the munchies when you are uncomfortable at certain places??

One top thing I have learned is never go grocery shopping when you are hungry and or tired because everything looks good at that point. I find early in the am after breakfast or anytime after a meal and when I am well rested is the best time to shop because you are alert enough to pay attention to labels and of course good bargains....................good luck

Try shopping at a different time of the day. If possible go in the early morning, even if its on a saturday. Stores are less busy then.

When I was on maternity leave, my favorite time to shop was Monday mornings between 9:30 and lunchtime. The stores are relatively quiet and usually well stocked. Best times to avoid are Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon - everybody is out then..

I also try to make sure I am well fed prior to shopping so that the Marshmallow Fluff doesn't jump into my cart. I swear it does that when I am really hungry.
