52 year old female with success story

To start out with, I am not where I hope to go. I have been at this never ending fitness goal since July of last summer. My story is in my profile. My fitness is a long way to go!
Yesterday, a male friend/ aquaintance gushed over my weight loss. So nice! Then today the same thing happened. This time a different male aquaintance told me that I look like a little girl. He then blushingly clarified that I look so much more youthful. One of my biggest fears of losing weight was that the lack of plumpness would make me look old and saggy. I think exercise has returned color and firmness to my skin and overall body. I am very embarrassed to post such a shallow success story, but I hope that it might inspire other women my age to exercise. We are not lost! It is still there! You just have to work for it.

Congrats! Nice story. You are blessed to have caught yourself at a size 12 (or 14). For many, including myself, that is just a stepping stone to the dreaded 16 & 18's or larger!0

Not shallow at all. A 10 lb weight loss (by ticker) would be unlikely to cause much sagging anyway but good hydration and exercise can certainly help with the skin tone, etc. You have done a great job. Women often have a really tough time in their early 50s losing even a pound so yours is truly a success story.. Best wishes on continuing your new lifestyle.0
