hi all.
I started my new diet yesterday and went way over on the sugar i was allowed, so last night i went food shopping and got some low sugar food.
New problem.
Now i am over on my protein !!!
How can i get them both right?

    Don't worry about being over on protein, look at that as a minimum rather than a ceiling.

    Also, don't worry about going over on sugar unless you're eating a lot of processed sugar. Natural sugar is fine unless you have a medical condition.

    As long as you have no medical conditions, you can have tons of protein. I have up to 50% some days. 200+ grams.

    You'd need to be consuming about 200g protein a day for it to be an issue, or if you have kidney problems. If you're trying to build muscle, a rough guide is 1g per pound of lean body mass (LBM) which is typically over 100g per day.
