I have been using MFP for a couple of months as a better way of tracking calories. I really am liking how it is working for me.
I have finally gotten it through my thick head that the weight is not going to lose itself. So I am now actually motivated to lose it. I am looking at the underside of 300 lbs for the first time in 15+ years. Some things I have noticed in the last 40+ lbs lost:
- My pants are shorter. (My belt is now up at my navel.)
- I can see UNDER the rear view mirror in my car.
- The seam on my shirt shoulders is about an inch away from the 'point' of my shoulders.
- Longer tail on my belt. (no holes in this belt.)
- My watch bands had to be taken in 2 sizes.
- Others really notice the changes. (I only see the daily differences, they get a week to month between seeing me.)
- I really like seeing the top 2 digits on the scale change monthly.
