I went to Woodstock 99.
Any of you Go?
What was the Highlight for you?
Favorite Band?
Most Outrageous Moments?
I can remember getting there and having to walk a mile to get to the campsite.
The Van of Hippies we Tented Next To.
The Eds Heads getting poored out and Tons of Ppl having Mud fights.
3rd Degree Burns and the Medic Tents.
Rage Against The Machine.
When the Crowd Set Fire To a Tower and caused Chili Peppers to shut Down.
The Looting.

    I remember when Ppl started tearing the Painted walls down and Crowd Surfing with them.

    i didn't go, but worked in a box store similar to target and wal mart. leading up to the festival people were buying our camping gear like crazy...tents, sleeping bags, ropes, coolers, anything and everything. it became a joke around the store of who can come up with the most non useful item we had and somehow relate it to needing it at woodstock and trying to sell it. "oh, you're going to woodstock? can i interest you in Bounce dryer sheets? you can use them instead of deodorant and just rub them on your body to smell good." we actually had a lot of fun with it while customers were yelling at us for being out of tents and sleeping bags.

    That's funny.
    We stayed till Monday and every one left all their tents and sleeping bags, tree showers grills, everything behind.
    We loaded up the trunks and went home with a few campsites full of stuff.
    Which we later sold for a small fee..

    reselling all that stuff is a great idea. wish i thought of that. i shoulda gone up after and taken some unwanted stuff. now i know for next time...
