Why do my exercise calories keep going up and down?

I worked this morning and when I got home I had 350 exercise calories. I go to sleep and wake up and now I only have 50. Why did it go down? It's like all that work I put in this morning didn't count! This is all syncing with my fitbit one btw

I have the same problem with my fitbit too. I log out at the end of a moderately active day, still in the green by 50 or so calories, and during the evening it reduces the "fitbit adjustment" so I end up in the red without knowing it. It's messing my head up!! I guess it assumes you're going to continue doing what you were doing earlier - drives me mad!!

It is the fitbit and the fact that you laid down and were sedentary.

It also has to do with what you have your lifestyle set at. If you have it as active, it will figure that in and if you are not active, it will deduct from your calories.

This is one of the reasons the fitbit is valuable to me. I prefer days when I log my exercise and then see a fitbit adjustment under that, like today.

You can actually log your exercise and the fitbit will adjust accordingly.
