SWEET VICTORY!!!

Sometimes I forget how sweet something very small can be, but today I got out of the bath and wrapped up in a hotel towel. I never expected it to actually cover me, because I have not been able to wrap a normal sized towel around me and tuck it in to wear it like a dress since high school. I paraded around the hotel with my held high and a grin on my face for a while, just basking in the victory.

Someone who has never been big would never cry from being able to wrap a towel around them, or from being able to sit with legs crossed- but it reminds me that being obese and losing weight again actually develops you as a person. You notice the little things. I never take a single thing for granted.

Hope you have a splendid victory today  If you're not quite there yet, don't give up. I never thought I would reclaim my life. If I had believed in myself sooner I would have had even more happy time in my new body. So if you're starting, please don't give up. If you've been tasting some super amazing success, share it. Inspire someone today.

I can't wait to be able to wrap a towel around myself. I had a small victory today. I wore a dress that was a bit tight when I first bought it. Now it fits perfectly, and I got so many compliments on it and how it fit. I decided to try on two of my favorite dresses, and they were loose! So they didn't look as good as when I was bigger. Quite exciting. I also noticed the fat behind my knees decreased. It's nice not to see as big of fat deposits there. hehe

Yes, losing weight makes you appreciate the small things that others take for granted. I hope they stick with me to remind me what I have and not to revert back to my old lifestyle.

every small thing is great. I remember the first good feelings of tight pairs of jeans getting loose, and now I'm able to take a bath without both of my hips touching the tub. I can relax in a bath and feel some wiggle room around me. Or sit in an office chair with arm rests without getting bruises from them in the sides of my thighs. I'm sitting in one now with a good 2-3 inches on both sides. It's amazing :flowerforyou:
