Sap from maple tree

We are currently helping friends with the collecting of sap and boiling for maple syrup. A habitbive gotten into is taking a cup of tea and adding the hot sap to it. Its so delicious but not sure how to record it and im concerned about the damage to my numbers.

Anyone now how i should record it here?

    If it sweetens your tea like sugar, record it as sugar. It's essentially the same, chemically speaking.

    Yeah, it's basically sugar water, I'd log it as sugar probably.
