Funniest moment on MFP?

I'll out myself here.

For the first couple of months, I just used MFP for tracking my food and exercise, and losing weight. That worked fine, but at some point, I noticed the recently updated topics on my home page, and I delved into the forums. I now periodically check out some posts in the forums, read about what and how other people are doing, etc.

At one point, I was reading someone else's profile (can't remember who), and they had line very early in their profile, "If you have ED, do NOT contact me." I sat there, completely gobsmacked for a solid 5 minutes. I was at a complete loss for words, even within my own mind. I mean, how many times has this happened that someone felt the need to put this line at the top of their profile? I just could not get my head around that this would actually be a problem for someone! Unreal! I couldn't make any sense of it. In the end, I just shook my head in wonderment, and went on with my life.

It was actually several weeks later that I realized that ED = Eating Disorder, and not Erectile Dysfunction. My hand to God, that is what I thought when I first read it! I was still a bit of a noob. Figuring out the truth had me giggling for weeks afterwards. I kept wondering how often this fairly attractive girl had been plagued with guys who had ED, such that she felt she had to post a warning on her profile? And I mean, I saw lots of flirting going on in the forums, but... yowza, that is taking things to a new level! LMAO!

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you on the forums, or related to MFP in general?

My funniest moments on MFP come from the fact that my eyes get ahead of my brain sometimes and I read people's statuses or forum post names and think they say something entirely different from what they do say. And since I, as a 35 year old woman, have the maturity of a 13 year old boy they are usually sort of pervy.
