I don't know if the nutrition info is right on MFP or not, but I was shocked by the amount of sugar in mangos. I use them for protein shakes, and I am always way over on sugar when I use a mango and a banana in my shake. I know it's "real" sugar and not refined, but it's still hard to take.

Yeah, fruits have a lot of sugar(fructose). I only eat bananas and on occasion I make a smoothie from frozen berries.

I buy mangoes by the case at Costco & when they ripen up pretty, I cut up into cubes and freeze for bkfst smoothies on the go. I add no more than 100 grams of mango & keep the assortment of other fruits like blueberries, bananas etc to less than 35 grams each. I also add about 25 grams of greens (that's as good as it's going to get for me  ). Such a smoothie will make up most if not all of my daily intake of sugar. If I use mango, then I don't use banana. The rest are inter-changeable.

It's not bad :ohwell: I know how that sticker shock can make you regret even a healthy choice though. You be a'ight.:flowerforyou:
