NSV!!!!!!!!!

So this is probably the biggest nsv I've had so far. When I started my journey, I was very unhealthy, to the point where it actually terrified me. I had enough. So i started Turbo Fire. I noticed my cardio improved drastically over 2 months. Unfortunately, I started to battle some pretty nasty shin splints, and had to stop my turbo fire routine. After a couple weeks of rest, I decided to sign up for my first 5k which is set for may 12th. Well that's not my nsv. Today I felt like my shin splints were healed enough for me to start training for my 5k. So I took my bum to the gym and got on that treadmill. I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to jog for 10 mins straight. I was then even more surprised when I was able to jog for 20 mins...but I was downright shocked and proud of myself when I jogged for 31 straight minutes, AND actually jogged 5ks on the treadmill!!

I don't think I could be any prouder of myself, and it just go's to show that hard work really does pay off. Never underestimate yourself, and remember that your body won't go where your mind doesn't push it!

    Great job! I find running on a treadmill much easier than outdoors because you can control the incline and speed. I have no idea how I'd do outdoors!!! I need lots of distractions when running or else I get extremely bored.
