Body for Life - Anyone up for a little friendly challenge?

I first learned of Body for Life (www.bodyforlife.com) back in 1999. My husband and I decided to do it together and I made it about 8 weeks into the program. I loved it, but I got sick part way through then never resumed. Over the years, off and on, I've been saying I wanted to try it again, but never quite had the motivation.

I've been on a serious, committed weight loss and wellness journey ever since my never-to-be-forgotten doctors visit back in early January when I stepped on the scale and weighed in at exactly 1 lb. heavier than my heaviest pregnancy weight! I could not believe I had let it get that far. I guess I finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired...literally! :-)

So far, my exercise has been primarily cardio, mostly just running. I can comfortably run 2 miles and easily run 3 without really killing myself. So, I no longer see a 5k as a challenge. I bought a treadmill and walk or run more regularly, so that is now squarely a regular part of my fitness life. Time to step up my game!

That's where Body for Life comes in. I think I'm ready to try it again. So, I am looking for someone to partner with so I have some accountability, encouragement and a little friendly competition. Anyone Interested?

    I am absolutely in! I work out a lot, but my diet just isn't where it should be. And my profile pic is definitely not depicting my abs....but a girl can dream! I would like to lose 10-12 pounds, reshape my bod, and I am excited to have friends to do this with!

    Maybe we start a little group?
