    <--- This is my first cat...she found us last July with her lower lip practically torn off. I never liked cats. Never. Kittens either. Blech. Rumor has it I have since changed my mind. Rumer is her name.

    A free kitten we named Cleveland, I was 33 (mom hated cats). Best thing that's happened to me. He holds my hand at night and tolerates A LOT of hugs and kisses...tolerates my Angelica-like tendencies.

    When I was 5 or 6, I got a little gray and white striped guy that I named Trouble. Then I got another gray and white striped cat which I cleverly (or not) named Double Trouble. Then I got a dog and realized I was more of a dog person than a cat person. (I named him J.D., which, depending on the day of the week, was short for either Just Dog or Junkyard Dog.)
