I eat 1642 ish,(TDEE - 20%) I only just upped it more from 1570 ish. I try to eat back most of my exercise calories, but I like to leave about 50-100 or so calories in case I underestimated my portions or MFP overestimates my calories burnt through exercise. I try to log everything as exact as I can without an actual scale, I measure everything. And as I get closer to my goal weight I will eat more calories per day, until I reach my goal weight and eat at maintenance.

1700 is more like an "eh, I'm not that hungry today" kinda day. I'm usually around 1900-2200, but I'm at maintenance. WHen I was still loosing I ate 1800 pretty consistently.

I eat at 1700! I do about 2-3 hours of moderate intensity cardio a week, plus some strength training with free weights. Feel free to add me so that you can check out my diary. BTW, I'm 5'3" and at 126 lbs, slowly losing the last 5 lbs!

I was at 1,750 last month and after losing 6.5 pounds I upped my calories this month to 1,850.
I am 5'2", 46 and perimenopausal with a low resting heart rate.
I am working more than fulltime and am not working out much right now.
Upping my calories has boosted my metabolism.

I am maintaining (actually still losing slowly) eating about 1800. I have MFP set for 1500 as those are my minimum macros. Then I eat back exercise plus a little more. I am to net about 1600 and not to eat over 1900 on a weekly average. I have a sedentary job but I do circuit training, kickboxing, walking 5 days a week. I clean house and do all of my grocery shopping and cooking on Satuday and Sunday. I eat whatever I want and drink wine daily. Diary is open.

I eat 1800 at the moment for "maintenance" as I'm on crutches and my exercise is limited, but I still seem to be losing. I usually eat at 1900+ to lose when I'm exercising normally.

well if you are losing at 1800 it isnt maintence is it?

That's why she put the word in quotation marks. She's obviously trying to *maintain* her up-to-this-point weightloss while she's recovering.

To the OP: I've recently ditched MFP's "Net Calorie" approach - which had me at 1580 eating back exercise calories.- for IPOARM's TDEE- 20% one. So I'm eating 1930 (up to 2070 which is Scooby's calculation). I'm not eating back exercise calories since it's included in my TDEE. I lose 1-1.5/week on this plan and only .3/week with the other. Weird.

E.T.A.: I'm 5'9", 175 lbs and CrossFit 4-5 times a week. Plus walking my furkid for an hour every evening. :)

Yeah I do.. actually 2100 now from 1600. It's fairly easy to eat calories.. have protein powder post workout, have more healthy snacks, drink a protein based meal replacement, lot's of options for you.
