I know you hate it, but can somebody use "yolo" in context? I have no concept of what that even means...

You say some dumb thing you did like, "I drank until I passed out, then I woke up and barfed on my mom's carpet. YOLO!"

... wow... Just. Wow. Thanks, I guess...

LOOSE, when it's supposed to be "LOSE!"
Yes! I want to make people repeat after me:
"When you LOSE weight, your clothes get LOOSE."

    Jump-start

    Detox

    Cleanse

"3 day" "7 day" "instert your number here ___ day"

Nothing good is usually in the post that contains them. Especially if there are 3 of those in one post.

    Starvation

    Mode

TDEE (albeit not really a word but I hate that term)

    10%

    kickstart

It stands for "You only live once" and comes from a song (rap I think- not sure because I don't listen to that type of music most of the time). Kids are using it to justify stupid behavior (like the sentence the other poster used). Every time I see/hear it I want to yell "No duh, you only live once- what do you think you are, a cat?!?!!"

Journey. Anybody who says the word Journey and doesn't bust into song deserves to be kicked in the head.
Thanks. Now I have it stuck in my head.

Most words I'm okay with, but slang like "obvi," "totes," "defo," etc. make me sad.

biddy81 "yolo" is short for "you only live once" - which, although true, is not really a good reason to barf on anyone's couch..

"Definately" , yes, I definitely hate that! Along with "probly". I taught ESL, so I usually try to keep my grammar/ spelling twitches to myself, thanks for the space to vent!

On MFP forums: Topics with the word "truth" in them.
Example: The truth about (insert controversial MFP subject)

I hate the word Mustache...bleh I don't like the way they look either.
