Can't stand it when people who eat to much than say," well tomorrow is a new day." Especially when it's several days in a row!!! :grumble:

I know you hate it, but can somebody use "yolo" in context? I have no concept of what that even means...

It's basically Carpe Diem for stupid people...

I LOLed at this one... good thing I'm alone in the office...

Which, now that I've posted it, "LOLed" is all wrong. Seems that it would be "LedOL" if it must be abbreviated at all. Discuss.
  • My bad
    Back on track tomorrow
    I can't seem to eat 1200 cal a day
Not logging because I over ate. (?)

Though I will say that when I have all my grandkids around I cannot possibly log every bite they have felt the need for me to eat, so I do keep it at 1 small bite.

Not really fitness related, but I CAN'T STAND when people call it "Guac" instead of Guacamole. I flinch every time lol idk if it's just an OCD thing or what lol I also HATE HATE HATE when people say Yolo. For some reason guys in Cali think they are so hip when they say it. I just laugh and roll my eyes.

The ONLY time it is appropriate is when you say "I'm going to Yolo County for ....". Anything else simply makes people look like a tool lol

I do, indeed, now know "yolo," and I'll never be the same.

It's understandable to use something like "LOL'd" because it gets the point across, but as this seems to be something of a grammar smack-down thread, I thought I'd stick with the theme. :drinker:

    definately
    defiantly
    ^when the person meant "definitely"
boast (to describe an inanimate object - like, "the great room boasts 20' tall windows)
anytime the apostrophe is used to show pluralization instead of possession. (crap, did i spell possession right?)
    and...

cheat day. i don't like the word "cheat." i feel you're allowed some liberties with your meals, in moderation. but i hate the idea of calling it "cheating."

EDIT: could of when you mean could have (could've). grr.
EDIT #2: awe when you mean awh.

"Curvy" as a synonym for "fat".

^^ THIS!!!! Plus people who also use "voluptuous", or "ample" as other synonyms for "fat". Anyone can be voluptuous, curvy or ample, it doesn't necessarily mean they're fat! :grumble:

Using "what" in place of "that". "Hey, how much was that pie what you bought from the store?"

"For all intensive purposes", when they mean "for all intents and purposes"

Hubby called me "volumptuous" one time. He actually thought that was the correct word.

Can I add "Baby Daddy/Mommy" to that, too?

For all intensive purposes, it's a doggy dog world out there. A real killer bee killed society.

Non fitness related: Just any dumb grammatical error out of an American. Especially when they write this "ghetto language" on purpose on FB.

"Mah lil girl be cryin all day. She do nuttin else. I'm finna tek her to skool."

I feel bad for your daughter.

Yes, 'Onederland'..I can't abide it. Also 'beast mode'...please....no...just no. And adding 'just sayin' at the end of a sentence. Cringe at all three!

I wondered if I was the only one. I twitch a little when I see someone say, "I want to look tone".
