Does whey protein go bad?

Ive had a big tub of protein still sealed for about a year now. Does anyone know if it goes bad or can it stay past the use by date if its still sealed? Thanks...

    It has a use by for a reason, while it probably won't do you any harm I would imagine it might not do its job after the date iygwim?

    I have various whey's unsealed for a while now. I'd be interested to know what people think also on this.

    Most foods are edible way past their expiration date. If the tub has been sealed, I wouldn't have a problem consuming it for oh, say 2 years past th e ex date.

    Just checked the date on my tub it actually expires next year so I'm good haha...
