i just started 5x5 yesterday.
and the problem is i still feel the muscle pain
im afraid that even doing squat without any weight hurts right now(but i think it's a good pain it's just tha paint is double.)
as far as i know i should do squats again tommorow. but i think it's impossible for me to squats with weights.
what u guys think should i do squats and bench press even if i still feel some pain?

Yes. Work thru it. Be sure to warm up properly. You'll find that the pain goes away sooner after your next workout0

Muscle soreness is a funny thing. Exercise actually helps alleviate it. You know what to do...0

When I can't squat with much weight I alter my squat for that day.
I get a bosu ball and turn it ball side down, get a dumbell of my choice and do tea cup squats on the bosu.
This helps my develop my stability and I'm still doing squats.
Find a modified version of a bench or do another upper body exercise.
Recovery is when the muscle is getting bigger/stronger so don't push too hard.0
