So last week I had Sinuses but still managed to workout 5 days last week and complete week 1 of my new running schedule. Well now I am sick in addition to my sinuses. Are there any foods like garlic that help kick cold/flus?

Soups with garlic, fruits high in Vitamin C, Multivitamin, Hot tea's, lots of water.0

I swear by ginger and echanatia (sp) because they boosts the immune system . I take them both daily with my multi and C. I only get sick once in a blue moon. You can buy them at any health food store. During flu time I double up.0

RAW Garlic. Wellness Tea with local honey. Fruits and Veggies. Homemade organic chicken soup. Don't put any toxins in your body and you'll be well in no time!0

I will second echinacea...that stuff works wonders! And don't forget your vitamins. Hope you feel better soon!0

chickn soup has been proven to have chemicals (i know such an ugly word) that improve your immune system and fight off viral and bacteria in your system. i load up when even the hint of something starts coming through the area. and i work with kids so everything that comes through i get exposed to.0

My grandma made us inhale camimile tea for sinus infection( boil water, take off of heat and put on a couple of taebag\s in, hang towel around your head and breathe in deeply) , lemon juice and honey for sore throats, chicken noodle soup for colds and spicy dishes to get the sinuses running.
Hope you'll be well soon0 -
ok this sounds gross. An athropology professor told me about it. He was in greenland and the eskimos swore by a tea brewed with fishermans friend cough drops. It is as nasty as it sounds but it works.0

I'm sick too  The thought of food is slightly revolting right now. I can't wait to feel better and get back to my normal routine.0
