Calcium and Iron - thoughts on supplements

Hi guys,

So according to MFP, I'm only getting between 10-20% of my recommended intake of calcium and iron. How accurate is it for those measurements? I have a LOT of vegetables and fruit in my diet now that I'm back on track, oily fish once or twice a week, and mung beans/lentils/quinoa/tofu/oats/flax seed/yogurt/nuts/seeds/almond and peanut butter...I thought I'd be getting the nutrients I needed from all this.

What're your thoughts on supplements for vitamins/minerals/electrolytes? I'd rather get all I need from my diet, but am concerned about how low the numbers are!

Thanks :)

I'm a vegetarian, and I worried about my calcium and iron too.
So now I take a large spoon of blackstrap molasses each morning - it has calcium and iron, and other nutrients, and I like it because it is a food, not a tablet.
You can get it in any health food shop.
