Something that really helps me when going into job interviews is turning the tables in my mind and thinking "I'm going to interview a potential employer today to see if it would be a good fit for me" rather than all of the pressure being on ME to be THEIR perfect candidate. This simple shift in my mind has really changed the way I view job interviews and makes me so much more comfortable.

And if you think about it, that really is what you are doing. Sure, they are trying to find the right candidate for a position, but you are also wanting to make sure that they are the right company for you!

    Good luck!

basiclly what i do and what works for me is this .... i apply every monday and i call EVERY friday to check on my application .... when that didnt get me anywhere i went to the place and introduced myself to the lady that does the hiring ..... got my call a week later ..... then i called every step of the way to check on how things were going even if it meant 5 calls or more a DAY .... this may seem pesty to some people but i have gotten my 3 BEST jobs doing this and my latest offer is being signed in less than an hr! ... i was never fired from a job i leave jobs for better jobs or better opportunities ..... hope this helps! call them after the interview and see how the process is going .... my hr ran into a snag with my one reference due to a weird company policy that only allows them to disclose my start and end dates nothing more ... so i was able to provide a replacement reference RIGHT AWAY!! .....
