I have started getting up early and going to the gym. I like the energy it gives me and the fact that it leaves me room after work to do things I want to do. The only problem is I don't have a ton of time. I have gotten into the flow of cardio for about a half hour and then 15 minutes of weights. I know it is isn't alot but I was wondering if it is worth it. I know at the end of the day going is better than not going but on days when I know I would be fine going after work should I go because I would have more time? During the weekends or on nights after work I average about 35 minutes of cardio and 25 of weights.

45 min of exercise every morning is definitely worth it. Keep it up

IMHO, it's not time for weights that matters, but what you're doing. I run 3 days a week and train abs (if I have time) then stretch or do yoga (again, if I have time) on the 2 weekdays I run, but not after my Saturday run. My running is my focus that day. 3 days a week (MWF) I lift. I do three big lifts, and 2 days a week I throw in curls or other accessory work if I feel like it. If I have time, I'll get in a walk on the treadmill or do some HIIT and some yoga. So, I'd recommend splitting your cardio and ST in to alternating days, then you won't feel rushed.
