What to do with hunger....

Before I started dieting and exercising, I would eat a meal....say a pork chop with a cup of steamed veggies and a cup of basmati rice and a glass of water....and I'd feel fine for several hours.
Now that I'm on a 1500-calorie diet, and getting 30 minutes of cardio every day, I'm hungry all of the time. I can eat the EXACT same meal and be hungry a half hour later.
I drink lots of water, try to snack on cabbage or broccoli or carrots or something, and I still feel physically hungry.
Is this normal? Will it go away? What can I do about it?

Hm. Well, there is a little hunger involved with losing weight, but it shouldn't be uncomfortable.
Are you adding back your Exercise calories here, and then eating them? You need to be doing that. This site is a little different thatn some other calculators. Here:

Try smaller more frequent meals, I've had under 1500cal today and I feel full to bursting because I've picked filling, low calorie foods in regular intervals.0

Your diary isn't public so I can't exactly see how you're eating but I would say ensure you are getting adequate healthy fats and proteins as these will help to keep you satiated longer. As well, I would recommend eating back most of your exercise calories and ensure that you are in fact, eating at an appropriate calorie deficit. I use this: http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ and eat 20% below that.0

Thank you all for the suggestions. I needed a handful of concrete ideas, and you all came through!0
