Total lack of motivation.

I usually work out hard for several hours a day. Recently, i took time off for medical reasons (a cardiac arrhythmia that really wore me down). Normally after a week or two, im itching to get started again. I've been off nearly a month now, with only three or so half hearted wotkouts to show for it. Its like...i WANT to workout (i wanted to deadlift 300# by my birthday in may), but once i get started pulling out plates and putting on my hrm, i feel exhausted.
For example, i just walked my dogs. nothing serious, maybe a quarter mile. i decided to go pull grass out of my garden. i made it less than halfway before i started feeling down. its not like im winded or sweaty or sore. just tired.
Im 22, not anemic, not dehydrated and my blood sugar is fine. i get plenty of sleep and im under no stress right now.
seriously-if i had overtrained it wouldnt last over a week, much less a month! :C

I know what you're talking about.... Potassium? Changing it up for something that's different and more high energy?0

You should go to the doctor and explain it to him, that doesn't sound right0

Some things that help me get motivated is turning on the right music and getting pumped that way!! Girl you can do it! Just think of the future You! Good luck0

Have you been back to the doctor for a follow up? I would assume this has something to do with your heart and recovery period. Your body might be telling you something is still not right. Or it could be you need to give yourself more time to recover. You should talk to your doctor.0

Yeah, the more i think about it-the more i think an EKG is in order. mu normal resting heart rate is 65-70, today its sitting at 40. Im feeling antsy and kinda anxious, like i cant get comfortable. Almost like ive had too much caffiene and have to dit still-my hair is in my eyes and is irritating. my clothes dont feel right. i cant get warm, even though its 80°. Im super low maintenence, but today im just feeling off-every little irritant just feels amplified.
so im gonna make a dr appt and probably go lay in bed.0
