I thought this may trigger some interesting debate since we're most of us here either fatties or ex-fatties. Discuss.

    Could be just the motivator needed to address the obesity problem in the western world.

    I know this will strike a good number of folks as unfair, but I (personally) would love to see US carriers adopt such a pricing model. Cut out all the extraneous BS and charge solely based on the fuel requirement (plus a reasonable mark-up). No more fees, no more wondering what you're actually going to pay, no more being "encroached on" by a neighboring passenger. Sorry, but it works for me.....

    The heavier you are the more fuel it takes to transport you. Seems fair enough to me.
